Dr. Markus Kemmelmeier is Assistant Professor of Sociology. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2001. Professor Kemmelmeier has published several articles in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Journal of Social Issues, Journal of Cross-Cultural Social Psychology and Journal of Behavioral Decision Research. His research focuses on the study of culture, social psychology of attitudes and values, social power, and intergroup relations.
