Stacy Gordon

Stacy Gordon is an associate professor and the Undergraduate Advisor of the department. She received her Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Davis in 1997.
Dr. Gordon's main area of research is Congressional behavior and she has recently published a book on the effect of campaign contributions on legislative voting called, Campaign Contributions and Legislative Voting: A New Approach. She has had other articles on this topic published in the Journal of Politics and State and Local Government Review. She has also done some work in the area of political behavior.
Stacy teaches courses on American policy and institutions and research methodology.
