The program's most valuable asset is its faculty.  The professors are experts in their fields, dedicated to teaching at the highest level, and set the standard for excellence in their profession. The professors genuinely care about the learning experience of the students and encourage students to continue their education after graduation from the program.

Kelle currently practices environmental, property, and constitutional law as an attorney for the federal government in Washington, D.C.

Glen S. Krutz

1993, MPA, University of Nevada, Reno
1999, Ph.D. Texas A&M University

…main strength of the program was the individualized attention that I received from professors along the way.  I am so incredibly thankful for the mentoring that I received from professors in the department.  I very much enjoy my work and my life.  That I am in this situation is the result of the guidance of various individuals who impacted my collegiate and early career decision-making.

Prof. Krutz is currently the associate director of the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center and an associate professor of political science at The University of Oklahoma. He won the American Political Science Association's E.E. Schattschneider Award for the best dissertation in American government and politics (2000) and the Carl Albert Dissertation Award for the best dissertation in the area of legislative studies
