Music Education Recital Procedures
Specific Procedures for Bachelor of Music in Music Education
Candidates for the Bachelor of Music in Music Education are required to present a senior recital. Students must register for MUS 498, Senior Recital, during the semester in which the recital is given. Criteria for this recital are as follows:
- Performing Time
- 30 minutes minimum.
- Recital Material
- Several style periods of literature should be represented,
- Memorization
- Piano and voice students must memorize the entire recital. Requirements for memorization by winds, strings and percussion are left to the discretion of the instructor.
