The University Symphonic Band is an ensemble of approximately 50 musicians. The band performs contemporary and traditional band literature and meets during the spring semester of each year.

Audition Information
The Department of Music considers this ensemble to be a Major Ensemble. Registered participation in Major Ensembles fulfills certain degree requirements. Find out more below and consult your advisor.
Membership in the University Symphonic Band is by audition only. Please contact Mr. McGrannahan, the director to schedule an audition prior to registration, or contact the Band Office at (775) 784-6525 for more information.
