Faculty and student ensemble performances occur frequently througout each semester. Check the Department of Music Events Calendar for upcoming recitals and concerts.
Ensemble playing is an integral part of the Department of Music's programs of study. All music students, both undergraduate and graduate, are required to register and participate in ensembles that match their areas of interest and specialization. The ensemble requirement is designed into each study plan because ensemble performance helps develop the abilities necessary for professional musicianship. The Department strongly encouraged incoming students to register for their major ensemble their very first semester.

Audition Information
The Department of Music offers opportunities to any University student demonstrating sufficient musical ability to participate in performing ensembles. Because most of these ensembles require an audition, students should seek the instructor's approval prior to registration.
