Juhi Huda
I come from India. I received my BA and MA in English from the University of Pune. I pursued my MA simultaneously with a post-graduate diploma in Natural Resource Management and Conservation from the Ecological Society, Pune. Studying literature by day and environmental studies by evening helped provide me with a simultaneous look at literature and environment. It was then that I decided to combine my interests in these two areas. In addition to literature and environment, my research interests lie in the areas of science fiction, fantasy, and literature and science.
Outside academics, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and playing the flute (mostly out of tune). Back home in India, I used to breed guppies (Poecilia reticulata, known for feeding on mosquito larvae), and I am currently learning to live for the first time in my life without pets at home.
