Erica Hall
Erica Hall is a long time Nevadan who received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno’s literature program in 2008. She lives in Carson City, about 45 minutes south of Reno, and spends her working hours at the Carson City AAA Office, but has aspirations to enter the editing and publishing field when she finishes her Master’s program. Erica has a deep love for the Sierra Nevada mountains and spends her free time camping, kayaking, and, of course, reading. Erica decided to return to UNR in the Literature & Environment program to combine her interests of literature and the great outdoors. She plans to focus her studies on Western United States literature of sustainability with particular emphasis on locations where environmental issues come up against the combined forces of politics and commerce.
