Jessica Fanaselle

I come from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I earned my BA in Religion and English at Augsburg College.  Back in Minnesota I did research on the work of my fellow Midwesterner-turned-Westerner, Aldo Leopold. Now, as a second-year MA student, my work focuses on African American Literature, with an emphasis on both material and imagined places in these texts and their relationships to identity.

When I'm not studying I enjoy knitting, hiking, and playing with my very spoiled kitten (who came with me all the way from the land of 10,000 lakes).
