Kenny Walker
Kenny grew up in the Carson River watershed just south of Reno. He graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2005 with a degree in Nature and Culture/English, and worked as a steward for ecological-research reserves for the Natural Reserve System. He joined the Literature and Environment program at UNR in 2007. His current interests include ideas of “place” and “wildness” in urban nature, phenomenology, the Whitman Tradition, American Literature, ecosocialism, and the intersections of post-structural and ecocritical thought.
