Zachary Lowe
Zachary Lowe is currently a first year graduate student in the Master's program. He attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah and majored in English and Environmental Studies. He recently moved to Reno from a small yet well "touristed" town in southeastern Utah, Moab, where for the past six summers worked as a professional river guide along the Colorado, Green and Yampa Rivers. He spent his childhood, as well as his adolescence, young adulthood, and anytime in between exploring the Canyon Country of the Colorado Plateau and becoming acquainted, aware, and enamored with his natural surroundings. His love for the environment and literature led him to pursue his dream of becoming more than just an amateur naturalist, and becoming a literate, well-read and well-written naturalist, dedicated to the natural world and the place he loves the most, his home.
