Harry Chase Jr. Scholarship

The Harry Chase Jr. Scholarship is open to International Affairs majors of Junior or Senior class standing and who can illustrate financial need.  Recipients must earn a minimum of 24 UNR credits per academic year and maintain full time enrollment with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.  For more information contact the Dept. of Political Science. Award varies, minimum $1,000; multiple awards.

Adriano Lucatelli International Affairs Scholarship

The Adriano Lucatelli scholarship is open to UNR International Affairs majors who maintain a GPA of 3.25 or better overall at the time of application and throughout the award year.  This scholarship is open to both US residents and non-residents, although preference is given to students from Switzerland. Award varies, minimum $1,000.

Adriano Lucatelli International Affairs Internship 

The Adriano Lucatelli Internship is open to International Affairs Majors at UNR.  Students receiving the award must intern at the Northern Nevada International Center (www.nnic.org) where up to six UNR internship credits may be earned toward the International Affairs major (optional).  This internship is open to both US residents and non-residents, although preference is given to students from Switzerland.

Application Procedure

  1. Complete the application found in this package or download an application from www.nnic.org.  A copy may also be obtained from the main office in the Department of Political Science (MSS 236).
  2. Include official transcripts from last school attended (either high school or university).
  3. Include a letter of recommendation from an employer or a professor.
  4. Include a one page essay (see essay guidelines on application).
  5. Submit completed application and supporting documents to:

The application deadline is generally in late March or early April.
