GEORGE ANTONY THOMAS, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Colonial Latin American Literature, received his B.A. from the University of Texas (1994), his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2000), and his Ph.D. from Emory University (2006). His research interests include gender studies, colonial historiography, and Baroque poetry. His research has appeared in Leading Ladies: Mujeres en la literatura hispana y en las artes, Monographic Review, Hispania, and Letras Femeninas.
