BEATRIZ ROBINSON, M.A., born in Mexico City, is a Lecturer of Spanish. She obtained her BM in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Spanish at UNR. She then went on to obtain an MA in Music in 2000, an MA in Spanish in 2001, and graduated with a PhD in Basque Studies in the Spring of 2009. She believes that there are strong connections between music and language acquisition, and those who enroll in her classes will most likely learn to sing a song or two. She teaches 100, 200, and 300 level courses.
