Lynni Weibezahl, M.A., Lecturer of French, has been collecting unrelated degrees like baseball cards since 1983. With a B.S. from McGill University in Montreal, a B.A. and M.A. in French and M.B.A. from UNR, she brings a varied educational background to her position as lecturer and undergraduate advisor in French.
Her relatively short attention span has allowed her to hold jobs in many fields, such as gold exploration, account management, international marketing, and retailing, affording her 15 years of outside job experience which she integrates into the classes she teaches. She has also lived, studied or worked in France and Quebec for over seven years.
Her main interests include comparative American/French economics and business practices and the subtleties of the French language.
When not teaching, she can be found rock climbing, running, skiiing, or trying to bag another peak in the Sierras.
