Awards Ceremony

Each year (Spring semester) we honor the best of our foreign languages and literatures students in our annual awards ceremony; 2009 was our 40th celebration! The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures holds an award ceremony awards the top students in each of the languages offers.  In addition the top students studying Arabic, Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish from the Washoe County School District High Schools are recognized.
