Freshman Composition, Expository Writing, Creative Writing (fiction and poetry), the American Short Story, Modern British Literature.

Biography:

She has an M.F.A. in creative writing (fiction) from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in English (creative writing--fiction) from Florida State University. Mostly under the pen name M. Kaat Toy she has published short stories, novel excerpts, prose poems, and creative nonfiction. Her prose poem chapbook, In a Cosmic Egg, was recently published by Finishing Line Press. Her flash fiction book, Disturbed Sleep, is forthcoming May 2013 in paperback and e-book format at FutureCycle Books. She also writes scholarly narratives on D. H. and Frieda Lawrence, Aldous Huxley, and Georgia O’Keeffe, mutual friends who all lived briefly in Taos, New Mexico, a tricultural community that is her permanent residence. Her scholarly narrative “Frieda Lawrence and the D. H. Lawrence Ranch” is forthcoming in D. H. Lawrence Studies, vol. 20, no. 3, December 2012, translated into Korean and published by the D. H. Lawrence Society of Korea.
