Faculty - Jennifer Lanterman (Assistant Professor)
Jennifer Lanterman joined the Department of Criminal Justice as an Assistant Professor in the Fall of 2012. She earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and has completed Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the University of South Florida. Her research interests include police professional development, violence against police and corrections officers, managing high risk offenders, and the effectiveness of community corrections programs. She has worked on several federally-funded studies on policing and corrections topics. Her recent work has appeared in Justice Research and Policy and the Journal of Police Crisis Negotiations.
