Core Humanities Staff and Facilities

Jodie Helman

The Administrative Assistant charged with the smooth running of the Core Humanities Office is Jodie Helman. Jodie, who has been with Core Humanities for four years, previously worked for Core Writing, as well as in other university departments.

Core Humanities usually has at least one part-time student employee on staff each semester. Corinn Azuse, a junior Biochemistry major in the Honors Program, helps out in the office.

The conference room, below, is where teaching teams meet to plan course work.

The Core Humanities program works out of digs on the ground floor of Mack Social Sciences Building, also the home of program instructors from History and from Political Science. MSS
frandsen Frandsen Humanities Building, recently renovated, houses the English Department as well as a sister program in the Core Curriculum, the Core Writing Program.
Edmund J. Cain Hall, formerly the College of Education, is the home of the Philosophy Department and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. The Writing Center, established with the Core Curriculum, is also located in Cain Hall. cain
