Kathleen Boardman, a member of the English department, is Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. She earned a PhD degree in composition and rhetoric at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and regularly teaches in her areas of special interest, feminist rhetoric, autobiography and memoir, Western American literature, and American regionalism. A runner-up for the college's Alan Bible Teaching Excellence Award, she has taught for the USAC program in Lüneburg, Germany. She has also taught all three Core Humanities classes.
