Guy Axtell is a lecturer
in Core Humanities and in philosophy. He received his Ph.D. in
philosophy from the University of Hawaii, where he studied East/West comparative
thought and culture. Areas of special research interest include the
American philosophers William James and John Dewey, along with the philosophy
of science. Guy is an avid skier and boarder, and he is a member of
the university's Ultimate Frisbee Club. |
