To be competitive, it is recommended that applicants have scores in the range of 600 on the Verbal, 500 on the Quantitative, and 5.0 on the Analytical components of the exam (or 500 on the Analytical test if taken prior to 2003). e) In addition to the GRE, foreign applicants for whom English is a second language must have taken the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 500.
