The current stipend is $14,000 for a full-time 10-month contract, which includes a full grant-in-aid. Other potential sources of support include work on sponsored research projects within the Department, employment with local CRM contracting firms, and Herbert Splatt Scholarships ($2500 each per academic year, for master's students only). The Department's McCandless Award, currently $1000, is awarded annually, if warranted, to a student who has submitted the most meritorious dissertation of that year.
