ANTH 703--Graduate Seminar in Cultural Anthropology. Selected reading and discussion of topics in social and cultural anthropology.

ANTH 704--Graduate Seminar in Physical Anthropology. Selected reading and discussion of topics in human biological evolution

ANTH 705--Graduate Seminar in Archaeology and Prehistory. Selected reading and discussion of topics in archaeological methods and theory.

ANTH 706 -- Seminar in Anthropological Problems: Topics vary by semester - detailed examination of selected issues in cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, anthropological linguistics or archaeology. Maximum of six credits. (optional course)

ANTH 708 -- Advanced Seminar in Quaternary Studies - Intensive examination of methods, theories and interpretations of selected topics, including peopling of the New World, environmental change or taphonomy of middle-range research (same as GEOL 708). (optional course)

ANTH 709--Graduate Seminar in Linguistics. Selected reading and discussion of topics in linguistic theory, socio-linguistics and the relationship of language to culture.
