STUDENTS
Prospective | Current | Transfer | Incoming More than 50% of the entire undergraduate population enrolls in College of Liberal Arts classes every semester. Every student at the university, regardless of major, takes at least four courses in this college: courses in writing, social sciences, humanities and the arts that provide the basic foundation for a good education in communication, reasoning, and problem-solving. Many students choose to take additional liberal arts classes for personal growth or to enrich a secondary area of interest. It’s common to see business majors who declare Spanish minors, marketing majors who minor in art, and science majors taking courses in music or literature. Whatever their specialties and whatever their goals, Liberal Arts majors experience a strong curriculum, innovative teaching by a first-rate faculty, chances for interdisciplinary study, an emphasis on performance, and opportunities for community involvement and global awareness.
