FACULTY and STAFF
Our 200 full-time faculty actively pursue the college’s mission in teaching, research and creative activity, and service and community outreach. They are joined by specialists who teach additional classes and discussion groups, give lessons, work with research teams, and much more. A busy college staff of 44 provides crucial clerical, technical, and other support. Approximately half our current faculty has been hired in the last decade, and research and creative productivity have nearly quadrupled. Through their creative applications in teaching and research, liberal arts faculty members enable students to become more productive members of society. Today, our faculty are not only immersed in study, teaching and research in their disciplines, but also in the crosscurrents of interdisciplinary studies and education. Many have won regional and national awards for their teaching and national and international recognition for their scholarly and creative work. |
