Jessica Terman
Assistant Professor Department of Political Science Ph.D., Public Administration, Florida State University Dr. Terman specializes in the public performance management and capacity building, administrative policymaking and use of contractors in government. She studies the management and implementation of environmental policy and energy sustainability projects at state and local levels. Her current research focuses on how the use of contractors in implementing energy and sustainability projects influences administrative capacity and performance outcomes. Over the past three years, Dr. Terman has been engaged in National Science Foundation funded research examining local government adoption and implementation of projects funded by Energy Efficiency and Conservation block grants. Her work has been presented to national experts in en ergy policy across the United States. Dr. Terman works closely with private and nonprofit contractors and government officials engaged in energy efficiency and climate change projects.
