In And Around Our Town
The Center for Holocaust, Genocide & Peace Studies
at the University of Nevada, Reno inaugurated the Gamboni
and Haimowitz Peace Library on Thursday. Elizabeth
Gamboni was the chairwoman of the Peace Committee
with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of
Northern Nevada and the recipient of the National Adin
Ballou Peace Prize in 1984.Leonore Haimowitz
made a major donation to the Peace Library.
