Gamboni/Haimowitz Peace Library

Through the generosity of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reno, the Center now houses the Gamboni/Haimowitz Peace Library.

During a ceremony in October 1996 with Konrad Gamboni and Ely Haimowitz present, the late Betty Gamboni and Leonore Haimowitz were lauded for their efforts as peacemakers, and it is in Mrs. Gamboni’s and Mrs. Haimowitz’ honor that the library was established. The library is a lending library and is open to the public.
