Dr. Darrell B. Lockhart

Darrell B. Lockhart is an assistant professor of Spanish.

His primary area of research deals with Jewish literature and cultural production in Latin America on which he has numerous publications.

He recently received a Junior Faculty Research Award from UNR to begin a project on Jewish issues in Latin American cinema.

"I am pleased to be on the HGPS Board because it serves an important function in the university and community. We all have the responsibility to educate people about holocausts, and to do all we can to prevent such vicious acts against humanity from occurring again."
