United States citizens and permanent residents should use the official application form at www.vpr.unr.edu/grad2/application.htm It must be sent directly to the Graduate School, not to the Chemical Engineering Division.

International students must follow the procedures described at www.unr.edu/oiss. Applications must be sent directly to the Office of International Students and Scholars, not to the Chemical Engineering Division.

For all students, official scores on the GRE are required.

A general statement of your proposed field of graduate research specialization
Recommendations from three persons (preferably from your major department) who know your academic work:

For assistantships, the deadline for receipt of all application documents is March 15 for students starting in August. October 1 is the deadline for students starting in January. Applications received after these dates will be considered only if assistantships remain unfilled.
