Teamwork

Through a combination of important teamwork qualities used along with new knowledge and other recently learned forms of reasoning, classsmates in chemical engineering classes experience the impact of true problem solving. They gather weekly into groups of three or four students and use this new learning to breakdown complex questionaire, the similar sort that chemical engineers tackle in a career. This allows for a practical task that keeps the students interested and provides them witha positive attitude marked by the saying"If you believe you can solve it you can!"

This sort of attitude is essential for any enrollment at UNR, or for any university. Furthermore, to practice teamwork sets forth the vulnerability of an undergraduate to proceed through his or her career with the positive attitude obtained in classes such as chemical engineering 101, for example. Afterall, since chemical engineer majors are obviously considering their major as a career, perhaps a life long career, working with others to solve a real life problem from the beginning is important.

Also, during the course the young engineers visited a couple of job sites where they may finally see the result of developed solutions, many of those similar to classroom practice. In addition, they view the attitudes of the professsional chemical engineers, whom were once in the same position as the students. This works as an opportunity to ask valuable questions which recieve answers that reflect this attitude. It's all about attitude! A positive look aids toward a person's persistency and aids as the structure of a good, co-operating team. Perhaps a class on attitude should be offered to engineers in order to combine with productive teamwork skills with which all chemical engineers will enlighten themselves in their first year.
