Giving Back to Our Community: 2007-2008 NSHE Charitable Giving Campaign
The University's annual Charitable Giving Campaign will be conducted from September 17, 2007 to October 12, 2007. Once again, we will partner with The United Way of Northern Nevada and the Community Health Charities of Nevada to support their 115 programs and more than 70 agencies in our state. This campaign gives all of us the opportunity to support our community through social and health agencies that provide much-needed services throughout northern Nevada and the state.
Your department coordinator will be contacting you in the next few weeks, and pledge amounts made during this campaign will be fulfilled in the calendar year 2008.
We have set an ambitious goal of $70,000.
Donations from employees outside the Reno area will be forwarded to the United Way and Community Health agencies in their area.
I hope you will support these worthwhile programs by making a pledge through convenient payroll deduction.
