Other Important Information to Consider
Add, Delete or Change a Course
If you are changing a course substantially, but would like to keep the existing course number, please be aware that the course number will include "R". Many do not like the addition of the "R" to the end of the number, but it is necessary to denote that this is, in essence, a new course. This might be the time to consider using a new course number, one that has not been used in the past. To find a new number that is not presently being used at any of the NSHE institutions, access the Common Course Numbering database at: http://www.scsr.nevada.edu/ccn/ In addition, please check the Student Information System (SIS) under "CRSE" to verify that the course number has never been used.
