The Professional Dossier File Service

The professional dossier service assembles letters of recommendation and supporting documentation for graduate students applying for academic positions in higher education and fellowships. It forwards these documents when a student applies for a position.

Dossier Closure Notification

Due to the budget reductions the state is experiencing, Career Development will cease operation on June 20, 2009. For this reason, no new Dossier files will be opened after July 1, 2008.

For current open files, we will continue to provide mailing service until March 31, 2009.

It is your responsibility to send the letter of introduction/application for the position. Then call Career Development to mail out your recommendations and curriculum vita, if desired.

We are working on procedures to close out active and older files. We should have a process delineated by September 1, 2008.
