Mary T. Calhoon is passionate about empowering Nevada students to develop, explore and achieve their career goals.
She holds a Masters of Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women's and Gender Studies from Amherst College.
Prior to working in higher education Mary T. taught high school English in Wahiawa, Hawaii, where she also developed a curriculum for high school students to explore their career goals through community internships and year-long research projects. Mary T. served as a Teach For America Corps Member in the Hawaii Corps, committing to teach in under-resourced communities and become a life-long leader in the public education system. She is thrilled to continue the work of expanding opportunities for all students at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Robyn Maitoza is a career management professional with expertise in group facilitation and training. She has worked in varied environments, including Fortune 100 firms, nonprofit organizations, and higher education.
Robyn is extremely passionate about what she does and enjoys helping people realize their potential. Most recently, Robyn served as the Internship Coordinator for the Human Development Family Studies program at UNR. She also has worked as a part-time instructor at UNR and TMCC, acted as a career consultant for multiple universities and companies in the Bay Area, owned her own career counseling practice, and has a background in sales and marketing.
She recently earned a Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Reno and has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Saint Mary's College of California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
