Professional Employment
Recruitment and hiring of professionals is handled in conjunction with the University's Human Resources Department. To see open positions visit jobs.unr.edu.
Student Employment
Each semester Campus Recreation and Wellness hires a number of students for a variety of part-time positions. In order to become a member of the Campus Recreation and Wellness family all interested employees must:
- be currently enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- be currently enrolled in at least least 6 credits
- maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Examples of part-time positions include Lombardi Staff, Climbing Wall Route Setters, Lifeguards, Intramural Sports Staff, Field Supervisors and Fitness Coordinators. Many times experience is not necessary, just a willingness to learn.
