Due to varying levels of call volume, wait times can vary. However, you will typically be picked up within 10 to 15 minutes of requesting a ride. You will also get a phone call when a van has been assigned to pick you up and when a van is currently waiting at your location.If you have been waiting for an extended period of time, simply call us back at (775) 742-6808 and then press 0 to speak with a dispatcher.
Yes. We currently have a shuttle bus that looks similar to the Parking & Transportation Services' East Campus Shuttle that runs during the day. It has magnets on the sides that say Campus Escort.
Our shuttle runs from 6pm-11pm, Monday through Thursday. It travels back and forth between Sierra Hall, the Downunder Café, Joe Crowley Student Union, Lombardi Recreation and Highlands Apartments. Requesting a ride for the shuttle is not needed, but plan on 10-12 minutes maximum.

Please note: if you place a request for a ride that is on our shuttle route, you will be asked to use the shuttle.
No, we service all requests in the order we receive them. Please call us 10 minutes before you need us. Our peak times are generally 7pm-10pm and your wait may significantly longer at this time, so keep that in mind.

The Campus Escorts will arrive in a white van with blue decals denoting the Campus Escort Service. The escorts will be wearing distinct uniforms including a navy blue Campus Escort polo shirt and khaki pants. During cold weather, the escorts may wear a navy blue jacket with "Campus Escort" printed on the back.
Yes. All Campus Escort employees undergo pre-employment screening, including criminal background checks and driving record checks. Further, they all undergo university-approved Defensive Driving courses as part of their training.
Our ability to help is limited to battery jumps, flat tire changes, and providing a safe environment to wait for outside assistance.

Our main office is located inside the Joe Crowley Student Union, Room 334. Our dispatcher desk is JCSU 327, outside the Sagebrush offices in the ASUN Center for Student Engagement.

No. Although our highest demand is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., we can still respond to a call within a reasonable amount of time.
