Summary

I am a soil scientist driven by a passion to help solve fundamental, practical and technological challenges in the field of soil and environmental science. My work aims to understand both how soil physio-chemical properties are influenced by environmental factors (including human activity) and in turn how these properties can be managed to positively impact our food supplies, the air and water resources. My research sits at the interface of soil science, hydrology and hydraulics and as such, deals primarily with understanding and controlling fluxes of soil, water, nutrients and contaminants in the landscape.
