Game Day Traffic Reminder

The 2015 Nevada Wolf Pack football season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. With 20,000 fans heading to Mackay Stadium, traffic and parking congestion is expected Thursday afternoon.

Business Economics

Business Economics is a field that applies economic theory to the business world. In this field, students learn economic theory and tools to examine the internal decision-making of businesses and the external business environment. Students have several business classes to choose from depending on which aspect of the business environment they are interested in studying.

Business Economics – choose two courses from one of the following tracks:*

Financial Economics:

Managerial Economics:

  • BADM 720 – Management and Organizational Science
  • BADM 760 – Marketing Management
  • ECON 765 – Labor Economics
  • MATH 786 – Cooperative Game Theory

Operations Research:

  • BADM 701 – Production/Operations Management
  • BADM 779 – Seminar in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • MATH 751 – Operations Research I
  • MATH 752 – Operations Research II
  • MATH 753 – Stochastic Models and Simulation

Taxation and Policy:

  • ACC 783 – Taxation of C Corporations
  • ACC 789 – Federal Income Taxation: Policy Issues
  • BADM 780 – Business and Public Policy
