Application Checklist

To apply to the EMBA program, please do the following:

1.  Create an account with the University of Nevada, Reno Graduate School and then complete the online Executive MBA Application.**                                     

**New federal regulations require all online programs to be authorized in any state in which participating students reside.  Currently, we are not authorized in the following states:  Alabama, Arkansas, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.  Therefore, students residing in these states should not apply for admittance into the Executive MBA.  For more information on this, please visit the State Authorization webpage.                                                                                                                                                                            

2.  Send two letters of recommendation on company letterhead, a two-page personal statement indicating the applicant’s educational and career objectives and a current resume emailed to Caitlin Rock at crock@unr.edu or mailed to:

3.  Send one copy of official transcripts from each college or university where work has been completed to:

Transcripts must be sent from one institution to the other.  If transcripts are received by the students, even if the envelope is sealed, they will not be considered official.  International applicants should review the information provided by the Graduate School regarding submitting transcripts.

                                                                                                                                                            
4.  Complete the official report of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Please visit the GMAT website or the GRE website for information. Schedule your test as soon as possible. Scheduling times may be limited and results may take several weeks to reach the University. The test results for GMAT or GRE should be sent to the Graduate School at the University of Nevada, Reno (see address in #3 above). The school code is 4844.

Exceptions to this requirement are only granted if the applicant has completed an accredited graduate degree (Master's, Ph.D.) or professional degree (JD, MD, DVM, etc.).
