Game Day Traffic Reminder

The 2015 Nevada Wolf Pack football season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. With 20,000 fans heading to Mackay Stadium, traffic and parking congestion is expected Thursday afternoon.

Outstanding Senior Award

Each spring semester, the Business Student Council recognizes graduating seniors that have gone above and beyond during their time in the College of Business. If you are graduating in December 2015 or in 2016, and you believe that you have had a positive impact on the College of Business, apply for the College of Business Outstanding Senior Award!

If chosen you will be recognized at the College of Business Honors and Awards Banquet, where you will have the opportunity to network with the top business professionals in the Reno area.

Apply online or in person in AB 407. Applications are due by December 23,2015 at noon. Applications can be returned to AB 407, or can be emailed (as .doc files) to unr.bsc@gmail.com with the subject line as [Your Last Name, Your First Name].

To apply for this award, applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Will receive their undergraduate degree in December 2015 or anytime in 2016 (May or December)
  • Declared major in the College of Business
  • Must be able to attend the College of Business Honors and Awards Banquet on Friday, March 4, 2016

2015 Most Outstanding Senior

Theo Meek's Picture

Theo Meek is a graduating senior from The College of Business receiving a degree in management. Since his arrival on campus in fall 2011, Theo has prided himself on his involvement at the University. He has served in leadership roles of several organizations including the Business Student Council, Business Peer Mentorship Program, and the Management and Human Resources Association. Theo is very passionate about serving students and has been able to do so through positions such as a Club Commissioner in the ASUN Department of Clubs and Organizations, as well as a research assistant in the Office of Admissions and Records. Theo believes in supporting new students, and as a first generation student himself, has found great support from his many mentors including Jim McClenahan and Robyn Davis. Theo is excited to continue his studies at the University by pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership starting in this fall.
