Our campus is located less than 1 hour from world class skiing and hiking at Lake Tahoe. Student activities such as: skiing/snowboarding, hiking, water skiing/wakeboarding, fishing, hunting, clubbing, and a variety of other activities. Reno also offers several annual events which include Hot August Nights, Reno National Championship Air Races, Street Vibrations, Farmers Market, The Great Reno Balloon Races, Rib Cook Off, Italian Festival, and Reno Rodeo. Being a part of the University of Nevada, Reno is being apart of a life-changing adventure. Because of our luxurious destination nestled in the heart of the city of Reno and tucked away just under the Sierra’s, it’s no wonder our student ratio has increased (fact - # of students attending compared to years past). And with the over 100 clubs offered at the University, it allows students to meet new friends and make unforgettable experiences.

Only about 165 colleges of business worldwide that have earned Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation for both Accounting and Business—the College of Business is among them.
Over $267,000 worth of scholarships were awarded to College of Business students for the 2007-2008 school year. Scholarships are awarded to business students on a yearly basis based on both merit and financial need.
An Undergraduate Advising Center and Career Connections office provide advising and career connections to students and are conveniently located in the Ansari Business Building.
Eight different student organizations exist for students to become involved in, including the newly formed Business Student Council that acts as a liaison between students and the Dean and Dean’s Office staff. Clubs and organizations provide opportunities for social and professional networking.
