Participate
All students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Summer Scholars Project.
Incoming freshmen will receive a complimentary copy of the book during New Student Orientation or in the mail. They are asked to read it and be prepared to participate in discussion groups as an exercise of at the Fall 2009 University of Nevada, Reno Wolfpack Welcome, Opening Ceremony.
The discussion groups will be held August 22, 2009 in classrooms across campus. Incoming freshmen will be separated into groups based on when they arrive at orientation. Faculty will be assigned to specific groups by the Core Curriculum.

Discussion groups will meet late morning on August 22, 2009 (11:30am - 12:30pm).
Purchasing the book
The ASUN Bookstore will provide complimentary copies of the book to all faculty volunteering as discussion leaders.
