The University of Nevada, Reno graphic identity program encompasses a new University master signature or logo, and signatures for each of the colleges.

For our University to be appropriately recognized for its academic expertise, innovative research and vibrant student experience, it is important that we embrace the new University signature and graphic standards. This enables us to create a clearer, more distinctive identity in the competitive higher education arena.

Style Guide

The official writing-style reference for University Communications is the AP Stylebook, produced by the Associated Press. Some University guidelines depart from the AP Stylebook and are outlined in the University’s Style Guide. These guidelines are intended to assure consistency in the creation of the University’s periodicals, press releases, brochures, newsletters and publications of this sort. They also should be applied to Web copy and advertisements where practical. Although these guidelines are not intended to be rules for composition of correspondence or articles for publication in scholarly journals, the University Style Guide is provided as an optional resource for faculty, staff and students to use if they wish.
