Academic Advising

All Biology majors should consult with a faculty advisor on issues such as course selection.  When you contact your faculty advisor to set up an appointment, please include days/times during regular business hours that you are available to meet - this can expedite the process of establishing an appointment.

Are you a new freshman?  New freshman advising information here.

Are you a new transfer student?  New transfer advising information here.

The Biology and Neuroscience Peer Advising Center can be contacted by email, phone (775 784 8200), or by dropping in to SFB 204 (schedule here).  The Biology and Neuroscience Peer Advising Program also has a blog on which students can chat with a peer advisor.
