This course explores many experimental approaches commonly used in cell biology and genetics.  The molecular basis of living systems will be investigated, with an emphasis on molecular biology techniques. A major goal of the course is to develop laboratory and library research skills, through designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments.  Another important goal is to learn how to write effective scientific reports.
