The Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is located just five miles from the University campus. The airport is home to seven airlines with convenient access to most of the country.
ScienceFIT participants will need to arrange their own transportation from the airport to the University campus.
The University campus is located near the junction of I-80 and I-580/U.S. 395. Those traveling by car are urged to check Nevada Department of Transportation Road Conditions for information related to road construction and closures.
ScienceFIT participants who have housing contracts with Residential Life to live on campus during the 2014-2015 academic year can check in, move into, and stay in their permanent assigned room during ScienceFIT.
NOTE: On-campus lodging is not available during ScienceFIT for participants who do not have housing contracts.
Before ScienceFIT - ScienceFIT students planning to arrive before Aug. 16 can find lodging information at the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority. There is no campus housing/lodging available prior to August 16th.
The University's Parking Services department enforces parking regulations year round. In order to park on campus in designated parking zones, you must purchase a parking permit.
Students who have purchased a year-long, parking permit should receive their parking permit PRIOR to ScienceFIT from Parking Services.
