What is a marching band without a trumpet section? There are more than enough reasons to be in the Wolf Pack trumpet section. One of the best reasons is that we are the top of the marching band pyramid; We make the difference between a good band and a great band. A Wolf Pack trumpet player will not only have the chops to play intense licks but will also have the artistry of a great marcher. Since there are many times when the section carries the melody it isn't a rarity to be able to march in the front during a show. The trumpet section does a lot as a group but our one formal event is our annual Trumpet Thanksgiving potluck. There can never be enough trumpets in the band.
