Michelle Calica and Zac Curtis - Section Leaders
Being involved at your school is probably the most important thing you can do when moving to a new place for college. There is no better way to meet new people, create lasting friendships, and adapt to a brand-new environment. Becoming a member of the Nevada Wolf Pack Marching Band allows you to do all that and more, all while having the time of your life!
The trumpet section is so important to any marching band, and here at Nevada our section is top-notch. We believe in creating music together, as a solid trumpet section is an integral part of a marching band, and we believe in having a TON of fun. Always. We have a handful of traditions that we continue from year to year and are always open to suggestions for new ones. We have an annual "Trumpetsgiving" potluck celebration, inviting all new and old trumpet players to meet one another and see the growth of the section through the years. We also love to rock the band camp lip sync and for the last three years have made a music video during our away trips. (Gangnam Style - 2012)
We welcome players of all skill levels, and we encourage you all to audition!
