University Orchestra
The University of Nevada, Reno’s most talented students appear as soloists with the University Orchestra under the direction of John Lenz.

University Washoe Zephyr Woodwind Quintet
The Washoe Zephyr Woodwind Quintet features advanced University students performing the works by Damase, Zamlinsky, Arnold and Plog. The Zephyrs have also been selected by the Reno Philharmonic Discover Music Program to bring arts experiences to our local community.

University Faculty Contemporary Harp Recital featuring Marina Roznitovsky
Faculty Harpist Marina Roznitovsky will perform  the Alberto Ginastera “Harp Concerto,”  Carlos Salzedo “Scintillation,” and Andre Caplet “Mask of the Red Death Conte Fantastique” with assistance from University of Nevada, Reno faculty, staff and graduate students.

Spring Celebration of the Arts
University of Nevada, Reno President Milton Glick welcomes you to an evening of art, music, theatre and dance! Begin your evening at with a visit to our Sheppard Fine Art Gallery and view cutting-edge contemporary works from our top BFA students. (Gallery open 6:30 to 8:30) Then take a seat in our Redfield Proscenium Theatre for the classic musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented by the Nevada Repertory Company. (Curtain time is 7:30 p.m.) Or, enjoy a free concert featuring outstanding students and faculty from the University’s Department of Music and Dance.
